christmas tree smell

I am constantly having this debate with myself about whether I should keep my website strictly business and only feature client sessions, or if I should share personal images too. My personal posts have been few and far between for this reason. But the truth is, photography is such a personal journey for me. Taking pictures is my passion and I like sharing everything I document, including my own kid… but is this the place for it? I don’t know. I often think, maybe I’ll just start a blog, and then I immediately feel overwhelmed because my plate is already so full. I don’t have time to upkeep another thing, and run my business, and be a mom, etc etc. So, I still haven’t decided.

What I do know, is that I love Christmas tree smell. It’s like, the most joyous, memory-inducing smell in the world. With Venice at a super fun age, the excitement of the approaching holidays and picking out our tree has taken me over. I’m giddy to introduce her to all the old traditions I loved as a kid, and making new ones, like Elf on a Shelf, which we are still figuring out. With my hubs traveling for work a bunch this month, we realized yesterday was the only day we could pick up a tree. So, we packed up the Bronco and off we went. Here it is, whether you like it or not. 🙂

Hello! I am so glad you're here. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. There are few things in this world that make me happier than taking pictures. For me, the purest joy comes with creating art from everyday life.
