One of my favorite things about my job is, it brings me back in touch with people who I haven’t seen in a million years. This pretty mama and I used to work together years ago, feels like another life ago now. When she found out she was expecting another baby girl, she hit me up. She regretted not doing a formal newborn session with her first and didn’t want to make the same mistake again. I hear this a lot. I actually didn’t do a formal newborn session with my first, and I regret it too (what was I thinking??)… Needless to say, I am extra happy when people book to capture those first days home. It will be a whirlwind and no one ever feels their best, but I will find all the magical moments in between, that you may not be seeing in your newborn fog. And later, I promise you from my own experience even, you will not regret it. Here are some highlights from one of Lucy’s first days home.
