I have so many finished shoots just sitting in my archives waiting to be featured on my website. Time passes and I get bogged down with more pressing work. And then, I have a day where I can squeeze in a couple, and I immediately get super overwhelmed.
Curating has never been my strength. I always give my clients a million pictures form our session, because well, why not… So, to narrow down my favorites OF the favorites for a feature post, well yeah that can sometimes take me forever. And then another year goes by and I’m like, “Oh hey, I remember that shoot”! I finally buckle down and go through them, and just like that, my heart is singing all over again.
I shot these two beautiful souls when they were pregnant with their first baby girl. I can’t even begin to explain how special this part of my job is. To see these families grow and to document these fleeting years, is so much fun for me. I see the things you are too tired to notice, those sweet quiet moments of love that make everything so so worth it.
