Sitting here in all my pregnant glory, feeling so much nostalgia as I look at these images from Mr. B’s 3yr session… Taking it all in, trying not to let my teary eyes turn into a full blown cry. Gotta love hormones. Although, who am I kidding, hormones or not – I would probably be crying regardless.
I met Mama Kate in birthing class just over three years ago. We sat next to each other with our husbands and we all kind of just hit it off. When our baby boot camp weekend was coming to a close, I mustered up the courage to ask for her number so we could keep in touch. Something I realize now isn’t so strange with fellow mommies, but at the time I was so nervous! I felt like I was asking them out on a date and feared the possible rejection. Hilarious to think about that now, of course, considering Kate is one of my nearest and dearest, her hubs is our fave and our kids are BFF’s.
I am so honored they chose me to document their lives over the years. We celebrated Mr. B’s third birthday with a cozy, playful in-home session and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
